The students who are going to appear for the exams this year must download the time table. It contains all the information related to the exam and provides the idea of the preparations. Students may follow the below-mentioned steps in order to download the Madhyamik Routine 2021.

  • Then you reach the homepage of the website.
  • Click on the ‘Announcements’ tab on top-right corner of the webpage.
  • Click on the ‘WBBSE Routine 2021’ link.
  • The WBBSE Exam Dates 2021 will now displayed.

WBBSE Madhyamik Routine 2021

The board has scheduled the Madhyamik (Class 10th) exams due to be held in 2021 from June 1 to 10, 2021. Usually, the board conducts the Madhyamik exams in March every year. However, this time, due to the ongoing perils caused by the coronavirus pandemic situation, the exams have been scheduled in the summer for the safety of students.

The Madhyamik Pariksha 2021 will be held in one paper each day. The exam timings would be between 11:45 AM to 3 PM.

First Languages in the list above include Bengali, English, Hindi, Modern Tibetan, Nepali, Odia, Gurmukhi, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu, and Santali, Whereas the Second Languages include English and Bengali or Nepali.

It must be noted that the board has also informed that the dates for Physical Education, Social Service, and Work Education exams will be announced on a later date.

There board also released some important points regarding the examination which are listed below.

  • Examination in Shorthand & Typewriting will be held at Kolkata and Siliguri only. The date and venue for the same will be announced later.
  • Examination in Sewing & Needle Work will be of four hours and fifteen minutes duration
  • Examination in Music Vocal & Instrumental will be of two hours and fifteen minutes duration for the theoretical portion. The venue, date and timings of the practical exams will be announced later. These will be held in Kolkata, Burdwan and North Bengal regions only.
  • Computer application examination will be of two hours and forty-five minutes for theory. Practical for this subject will be conducted by individual schools.
  • The duration for the theory portion of vocational subjects (under NSQF project) will be of one hour forty-five minutes. The practical exam for these subjects will be taken by the Sector Skill Council or individual schools.
