WBJEE counselling 2020 registration for the first round has started on August 12th as per the official notification and the last date to register by choice filling is August 25th, 2020. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has released the schedule of WBJEE 2020 Counselling at its website. Candidates looking forward to getting admissions to undergraduate courses in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture programs across the state of West Bengal must apply for the counselling process now that the result and rank list is out. Shortlisted are all set to participate in the counselling process. The board has released the schedule for WBJEE online counselling for admission to seats on various programmes with the exception of seats in Architecture courses and seats reserved for JEE(M) candidates. WBJEE 2020 Counselling Date
- The first round of registration and choice filling is all set to begin from August 12th and continue till 25th August.
- The first round of seat allotment result will be released on 31st August. Selected students will then have till 6th September to accept the admission.
- The second round of counselling will be conducted from 11th September till 30th of September.
- Following that, the third round of counselling will commence from 6th October and continue until 25th of August.

WBJEE counselling 2020 registration
The first round on WBJEE counselling registration and choice filling began from 12th August. It is mandatory for candidates to register for the counselling process in order to seek admission. Candidates can register at the beginning of any of the 3 rounds of counselling. Candidates won’t be required to pay any registration fee. However, candidates registering through their JEE (Main) scores will have to pay a fee of Rs.500/-.
Candidates can also register themselves for the counselling at a nearby Common Service Centre free of cost. Candidates will have to upload the below mentioned list of documents at the time of registering, so they must keep the same handy while applying.

- 10th Marksheet
- 12th Marksheet
- Domicile certificate
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- PwD Certificate
- Income Certificate
How to register for counselling?
Shortlisted candidates can register themselves for the WBJEE 2020 counselling by following the steps mentioned below.
- Visit the official website (wbjeeb.nic.in).
- Click on the ‘WBJEE 2020 e-Counselling’ link.
- Click on register tab.
- Fill in required details such as Roll no., domicile, category, etc.
- Click on the ‘Submit’ tab.
- Add or delete the choice(s) of college and branch.
- Click on the ‘Save & Submit’ tab.
Candidates will have to fill in their respective choice of colleges at the registering as well. Candidates will submit a minimum of 20 choices of institutes and can fill in as many choices as they want. The choices filled will then have to be locked in before Seat Allotment within the given time frame. It must be noted that candidates who do not lock in their choices won’t be considered for the Seat Allotment process.

WBJEE Counselling 2020 will involve centralized computer-based choice filling and seat allotment process. After completion of each round of seat allotment, candidates are required to report for document verification and submission of tuition fee for provisional admission.
The seat allotments will be made on the basis of respective candidate’s General Merit Rank. After each round of seat allotment selected candidates will have either have to accept the admission offer by paying the requisite fee or pass on. Seat allotment in each subsequent allotment will depend upon the underlying vacant seats after each round of counselling.
