Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), previously known as UPTU, has released the UPSEE 2020 admit card on September 10th. The admit card downloading facility is now available on the official website www.upsee.nic.in. The test takers can download their admit cards from the official portal by using the application number and password. UPSEE admit card is an important document which the candidates will have to preserve till the admission process concludes. UPSEE is scheduled to be conducted on September 20th, 2020. The exam will consist of 8 papers all which will be conducted on the same day in different shifts which will depend upon the course opted for admission. Kindly read on for further details.

UPSEE 2020 Admit Card

Candidates who had previously registered themselves for UPSEE 2020 will be able to download the admit cards from 10th September 2 PM onwards. It will be mandatory for all test takers to carry the admit cards to the exam centre. Candidates can download the admit card by following the below-mentioned steps.

  • Visit the UPSEE official website (upsee.nic.in).
  • Click on the ‘UPSEE 2020 Admit Card’ link.
  • Enter the application number and password in the login window as received after the registration process.
  • The admit card will now be displayed.
  • Download and take a printout for further use.

The admit cards will contain important information such as the exam centre among others. In addition to this, the admit cards will also consist of instructions and advisory for candidates in view of COVID-19. Candidates are advised to carry a photo ID card (Aadhaar, DL, etc.) to the exam centres along with the admit cards. Candidates should also take necessary precautions for their safety. 

UPSEE 2020 Exam Schedule

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam is scheduled to be conducted on 20th September. AKTU is conducting 8 papers for various undergraduate programmes along with MBA and MCA courses. All the papers will be conducted on a single day in different shifts. The papers will be conducted starting from 9 AM till 6:15 PM. The exam day will commence with Papers 7 & 8 and conclude with Paper 3.

UPSEE 2020 Exam Pattern

UPSEE will be conducted as a pen-paper based exam. All papers will consist of multiple-choice questions. The exam duration differs for each paper as mentioned below.

  • Papers 1 and 2 are of 3 hours duration.
  • Paper 3 is of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration.
  • Papers 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 are of 2 hours in duration.

The question papers will be available in bi-lingual format, in Hindi and English.

There is no provision for negative marking in case of incorrect response in the exam.

Papers 1, 2, and 3 will carry a weightage of a total of 600 marks whereas rest of the papers will carry a weightage of 400 marks. Paper 1 and 2 will consist of 150 MCQs whereas Paper 3 will consist of a total of 102 MCQs. While the rest of the papers (4, 5, 6, 7, and 8) will consist of a total of 100 MCQs.
