UPPRPB exam date has been announced for Jail Warder, Fireman and Constable (Mounted Police) recruitment ongoing through 2019-2020. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) Lucknow has decided to organize the written exam in the month of September. An official notice has also been published in this regard.
UPPRPB had issued official notifications on 29th November and 3rd December, 2018 for direct recruitment to the post of Jail Warder, Fireman and Constable Mounted Police (Horse Rider). Total posts to be filled through the notifications include 3012 Jail Warder (Male), 626 Jail Warder (Female) & 102 Constable (Mounted Police) posts in Prisons Administration and Reform Services and 2065 Fireman posts in UP Police Fire Services Department. The applications for these posts were submitted in online mode from 18th January to 24th February 2019.

As per the selection process, all the applicants will have to appear for a written test. Only selected candidates from written test will be allowed to participate in subsequent selection activities including Physical standard test, document verification and Physical efficiency test. The final selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared after completion of all these processes.
UPPRPB released latest notice on 1st June related to Jail Warder exam date. The notice reads that the offline written test is proposed to be held in September 2020. The candidates are advised to keep visiting the UPPRPB official website on regular intervals as the exact exam date will be announced anytime now.
UPPRPB Admit Card to be available:
The admit cards will be released few weeks prior the exam. Once the exact exam dates are announced for Jail warder, fireman and Constable exam by the Board, the candidates will have to take the exam at their designated exam centers.
UPPRPB admit cards will be issued at least one month before the exam date and the candidates will have to download their admit card through online mode. The admit card will be available on official PRPB websites – www.uppbpb.gov.in and www.prpb.gov.in. The candidates will have to carry their admit card, one photo ID proof and a passport size photograph to their respective exam center.
The written exam will be conducted at thousands of test centers across the State. The written test will be conducted in multiple shifts. The paper will carry 300 marks consisting questions to test General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical & Mental Ability, Mental Aptitude, I.Q & Reasoning Ability of candidates.
