TISSNET TISS admit card 2020 from Dec 20, Update

TISS admit card 2020 for the national entrance test -TISSNET 2020, will now be released on December 20th, 2020 as per the latest official notice.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) National Entrance Test (NET), called TISS-NET will be conducted on January 4th, 2020 in computer based mode.

Candidates may visit the TISS official website for TISSNET 2019-20 and download their TISS admit card 2020 using their registration number and other required details.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) conducts this national level entrance test for admission to its most sought-after Masters (M.A.0 programmes in its 21 schools and 45 centers. The admission will be done to the 2020-2022 batch on the basis of this entrance test.

About 40 thousand candidates are expected to sit for TISSNET 2020 which will be conducted at organized venues in 40 cities. Near 40-45% of the total students opt for HRM &LR since they only have the option to select 3 out of 53 programmes offered in through the test.

The computer based TISSNET will be held on January 4th, 2020 between 2 pm to 4:30 pm and the results will be announced a month later, on February 4th, 2020.

The TISSNET on January 4th will be a screening test to shortlist candidates for the 2nd stage which is then based on differential cut offs for different programmes depending on the number of seats, number of candidates and scores obtain by the candidates in the exam. Stage 2 exam consists of pre-interview test and personal interview, and is scheduled for March 11th-21st, 2020.

  • A total of 100 multiple choice type questions will be asked in TISSNET 2020 for 100 marks.
  • The exam will have 3 sections- GK, QA-LR & English.
  • The highest weightage is given to the GK section, i.e., 40%.
  • There is no negative marking in TISSNET 2020.

The candidate need to obtain at least 35% marks to qualify TISSNET 2020. The cut off this year is expected to be around 70-74 marks.
