VTU Revaluation Date 2020 B.E 1st & 3rd Sem, Application Process

VTU revaluation 2020: The Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) releases the dates for revaluation and photocopy of answer scripts for the UG/PG examinations held during Dec 2019- Jan 2020. The circulars are released on the official portal – vtu.ac.in.

Latest March : VTU revaluation date for 1st and 3rd sem 2020 will be notified this week now that 1st & 3rd semester results are declared. VTU 1st, 3rd sem revaluation date 2020 will be notified in 1-2 days. We will update here once notice is out.

Students may check the notification titled “Submission of Online Application Forms for Revaluation and Photocopy of Answer Script UG/PG Examination held during Dec 2019 / Jan 2020” on the official website and read the details. The VTU revaluation date 2020 along with procedure to submit the online application form is given below.

The revaluation schedule applies to the students whose results have been announced. The results declared so far have been for B.E./B.Tech 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th semester, B.Arch 1st to 8th semester, and MCA 4th & 5th semester exams, all conducted during December 2019-January 2020.

The results of B.E 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th semester is expected by Tuesday.

Schedule for submitting application for VTU revaluation and photocopy of answer scripts:

  • Starting date for online filling of applications – March 10th, 2020
  • Last date to fill online application form without penalty- March 14th, 2020
  • Last date to fill application with penalty of Rs 500/- March 18th, 2020

This schedule is for B.E. 5th-8th semester, MCA 4th-5th semester, & B.Arch 1st-8th semester. The revaluation process for B.E. 1st-4th semester exams will begin after results declaration of the same.

Revaluation fees:

  • The revaluation fees for UG courses is Rs 400/- per subject.
  • The photocopy fees for UG courses is Rs 300/- per subject.
  • All students also have to pay application fees Rs 20/- in addition to the revaluation/photocopy fees.
  • For PG courses, revaluation fees is Rs 3000/- per subject along with Rs 20/- application fees. There is no fees for photocopy.

How to apply for revaluation:

The students from Bengaluru region may fill the application at official website prexamblr.vtu.ac.in.

The Students from Belagavi, Kalaburagi and Mysuru region have to apply through prexam.vtu.ac.in.

Students have to select the ‘Revaluation’ menu at above portals and then proceed to submit the application and pay the fees by following the instructions.

Student may apply for revaluation of photocopy of answer scripts for any number of subjects. However, they will have to pay the applicable fees.

Dakshin Hindi Prachar Sabha Results 2020 Declaration Update

Hindi Prachar Sabha exam results: Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha (DBHPS) results for February 2020 Prathmic, Rashtrabhasha and other examinations are declared at www.dbhpscentral.org. Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, also known as (DBHPS) was created by father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi ji with the sole aim of promoting Hindi language in the Southern states of india. Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha conducts the Hindi exams on various levels which are- Parichaya, Prathamik, Madhyama, Rashtrabhasha, Praveshika, Rashtrabhasha Visharad, Rashtrabhasha Praveen, and Nishnath. All of these Hindi exams are recognised by state as well as central government. Visharad Poorvardh results 2020 are also available at provided links.

Latest Update (March 15): DBHPS APTS (Andhra Pradesh & Telangana) has released Lower exam results today on March 15, 2020 on https://www.dbhpsapts.com/. DBHPS AP & TS Parichaya to Rashtra Bhasha Praveen examinations were conducted on February 8th & 9th, 2020.

Hindi Prachar Sabha exams

Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha conducts Hindi exams twice in a year i.e., once in February and second time in August. The Hindi exam results that are to be declared now are for the February 2020 examinations.

Neary 2 lakh candidates aspiring to learn Hindi and earn the certification appeared for Hindi Prachar Sabha February 2020 exams. Nearly 4 lakh take the Hindi prachar Sabha exams each year.

How to check Results:

Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha declares the results through its official website www.dbhpscentral.org. Candidates who wrote the Hindi exams may visit the official website and click on the “Results” section (Direct link- http://www.dbhpscentral.org/hallticket/index.php).

Now that the results page is open, select the State for which you want to check the results (options- Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra etc.). Now, select the exam name (Prathmic, Rashtrabasha etc.), Select the exam month and year (select 2 and 2020) and now enter your hall ticket number. Following these steps, the candidates will be able to check their results.

Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Trichy (DBHPS Trichy) has website named www.hindisabhatrichy.com where candidates can check their results. The Parichay exam result was declared on Feb 21st, 2020 for the exam held in January 2020.

Bangalore University 3rd sem results 2020 out, 1st sem date here

Bangalore University results 2020 buofc.inhawk.com: Bangalore University (BU) has declared of its 3rd semester examinations held during Nov/Dec 2019 for UG courses BA, B.Com, B.Sc etc. Bangalore University has now announced 3rd and 5th semester results of UG exams held during Nov/Dec 2019 session.

The announcement for 3rd semester results was made today on March 21, 2020. However, the University still has not released 1st sem results.

Bangalore University (BU) is a public state varsity located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. BU has more than 125 UG and PG degree colleges affiliated to it and conducts the semester-end examinations for the same.

The students may visit the official Bangalore University results 2020 portal buofc.inhawk.com to download their provisional marks sheet. To check 3rd semester results, the students should directly visit https://buofc.inhawk.com/Examresults/. After opening the link, enter your student registration number, and click on ‘check result’ button available right there.

  • Bangalore University BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA/BBM, BCA, BHM, BVA- 1st sem results 2020- yet to be released
  • Bangalore University BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA/BBM, BCA, BHM, BVA, 5th and 3rd sem results – Declared (updated on March 21). Check them on BUOFC.INHAWK.COM.

TN SSLC Exam Postponed, Tamil Nadu 10th Public Exam Cancelled

Is TN SSLC exam postponed? What are the new date of Tamil Nadu 10th public postponed exam? Yes, its official. SSLC exams have been postponed and new dates will be released in April. The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu had scheduled the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exam, also known ask 10th public board examinations scheduled between March 27th to April 13th, 2020.

Edappadi K. Palaniswami, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu made the announcement today on March 21, 2020 to postpone 10th examinations in the wake of health & safety concerns of the students due to coronavirus outbreak.

TN 10th public SSLC exam postponed 2020

Following TN SSLC (Class 10 public) board exam 2020 papers are postponed officially:

  • March 27th- Language
  • March 28th- Optional Language
  • March 31st- English
  • April 3rd- Social Science
  • April 7th- Science
  • April 13th- Mathematics

The Chief Minister also stated that examinations for class 11 (plus one) and class 12 (plus two) classes are not being postponed as those are underway. Plus one and plus two board exams will be conducted as scheduled. The fate of class 1-9th exams remains to be seen as official notice regarding that is not out yet.

The students and the parents may visit the official website of the DGE Tamil Nadu for notice.

The new dates for postponed SSLC exams will be released in due time, the officials said. The Tamil Nadu 10th public examinations will tentatively be held after April 14th, 2020.

The decision to postpone SSLC March 2020 examinations has been take due to the fast spreading Coronavirus outbreak as the state and central government are taking serious measures to stop the same.

Maharashtra SSC exam postponed 2020 10th SSC Boards Cancelled

Maharashtra SSC exam postponed: SSC boards exam’s Geography paper for March 23, 2020 has been official postponed. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has postponed its Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam 2020 scheduled to be held on March 23rd, 2020. Its official now that the last SSC Board exam for Geography (paper 2) and Social Science (78) paper in Maharashtra is cancelled/delayed.

Varsha Gaikwad, the education minister of Maharashtra, quoted today, “In view of the Coronavirus outbreak, School education department has decided to postpone SSC Board (10th class) examinations that was scheduled on March 23rd, 2020”.

Only SSC paper was left to be conducted for Geography subject and that has now been postponed. Maharashtra SSC board exam 2020 had commenced from March 3rd.

The new SSC board postponed exam date 2020 will be March 31, the minister said.

The official notice will also be uploaded at the official site of the Maharashtra SSC board MSBSHSE i.e. http://mahahsscboard.in/.

Some of the students are still confused and asking about the notice from MSBSHSE. To answer them, MSBSHSE has not uploaded on its website yet, but will be soon.

VTU 3rd sem results 2020 has been declared now. results.vtu.ac.in official is now displaying VTU 3rd sem results 2020 as updated on March 21, 2020, 05:10 PM. Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) had conducted the third semester examinations for the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)/ Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) courses during December 2019-January 2020.

How to check results

VTU 3rd sem results 2020 for CBCS and non-CBCS students have been uploaded simultaneously at results.vtu.ac.in- the official result portal. VTU results of 3rd sem 2020 are now accessible as official announcement has been made. The results are out for all affiliated colleges in all four regions; Mysuru, Bengaluru, Belagavi, and Kalaburagi/Gulbarga.

  • VTU usually uploads results between 6 pm to 08:30 pm on its website.
  • However, the results.vtu.ac.in server becomes unavailable between 9 pm to 9 am.
  • Students are advised to check their 3rd semester results as soon as it is declared or check the same on the next morning after 9 am.
  • VTU 3rd sem results uploaded for now will be provisional. The final results and marks sheets will be distributed after updating the marks of revaluation results.
  • Apart from the online checking of results, students may also get their VTU provisional result from their respective colleges.

Along with results.vtu.ac.in, students can also check their results at vtu4u.com (VTU for you ‘4U’) and ‘Take It Smart’ unofficial portals. VTU4U results 2020 are also updated in tune with the official announcement.

Students will have to enter their USN to check the VTU 3rd Sem CBCS/non-CBCS results 2020.

Students can use ‘Take it Smart’ website’s SGPA/CGPA calculator to calculate their CGPA after announcement of results.

VTU Class Rank & Marks

VTU class rank is conferred to the students at the time of awarding of degree in each course/branch if the student fulfils the criteria as below:

  • Student must have passed in all semesters (1st to 8th) subjects in the first attempt only.
  • For B.E/B.Tech students, the cumulative marks obtained in 5th-8th semester exams will be considered.
  • Student should have completed his course in 4 academic years and must not have rejected or repeated any of the lower semesters.

The VTU rank is provided to the 1-10 top rank holders throughout the state in each course/branch.

In CBCS scheme, students have to obtain 7.7 CGPA to be awarded First Class with Distinction (FCD). For old (2010) scheme, students were to obtain 70% marks for achieving FCD in their marks sheet.

WBCHSE Higher secondary HS exam 2020 postponed

West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has postponed its Higher Secondary (HS) examinations scheduled to be held on March 23, 25 & 27, 2020. The board officials yesterday had stated that exams would not be postponed. However, fresh reports that are just in, have confirmed that WBCHSE Higher secondary exam 2020 has been postponed.

The postponement also implies to the WBCHSE High School examinations scheduled on dates hereon (after March 21).

Following WBCHSE exam has been cancelled scheduled in March 2020:

  • March 23- Physics, Nutrition, Education, Accountancy
  • March 25- Chemistry, Economics, Journalism & Mass Communication, 
    Sanskrit, Persian, Arabic, French
  • March 27- Statistics, Geography, Costing and Taxation,

WBCHSE postponed exam date 2020 for higher secondary class will be notified by April 4th. The exams would expectedly be held in mid-April or late-April, the fresh schedule would be uploaded WBCHSE official portal here.

The decision to postponed HS exams has been taken in view of the coronavirus outbreak.

AMIE section B Result Winter 2019 IEI India Result Declared

The Institutions of Engineers (India) has declared the result of its Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) Section B examination held during winter 2019 session. IEI has uploaded the AMIE result 2020 on its portal ieindia.org which the candidates may access using their membership number and roll number. The candidates who are not satisfied with their section B result/grades, have the option to apply for the re-verification of the same. More details are given below.

AMIE Exam:

The Institutions of Engineers (India), commonly known as IEI or IE India, conducts the Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) examinations twice in a year, once in summer session and then in winters. The result of section A exam held in winter 2019 was released in February while IEI section B result of winter 2019 exams was released today on March 20, 2020.

AMIE is a degree level course in engineering and is accepted by all state as well as central institutions.

AMIE result winter 2019 for section B exam is now available for the candidates who wrote the exams in December 2019. The candidates can also download their grade card after login at IE India portal.

How to check results:

The candidates may visit the www.ieindia.org website and click on the relevant link in the footer section, titled as “AMIE exam results”.

Once the result page is open, candidates will have to open their membership number and six-digit roll number. Membership number has to be filled without any hyphen in-between. For example ST-23456-7 as ST234567 or T-234567-8 as T-2345678.

For now, the grade will be available online only. The results/grade cards will not be dispatched to the candidates and should be downloaded only.

The registrations for the summer 2020 exams is currently underway till April 27, 2020. The summer exams will be held between June 6th to June 12th, 2020.

JAC 9th board result 2020 jacresults.com, jac.jharkhand.gov.in Class 9 Results Today

www.jacresults.com and jac.jharkhand.gov.in/jac/result will host the JAC 9th class result 2020 today. Jharkhand 9th board result 2020 by name or roll number can be checked after declaration officially at the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) website.

Reports have stated that JAC will announce the result of its class 9th examinations today on March 20 by 4 pm according to new reports. Jharkhand 9th class result 2020 will be uploaded on the official websites of the Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranch i.e., jacresults.com, jac.nic.in and jac.jharkhand.gov.in. 9th class result date was pinned as March 19th by some reports but that did not happen and the results are now expected on March 20.

Jharkhand Academic Council, (JAC), Ranchi, the public board examinations conducting authority in the state of Jharkhand had conducted the class 9th exams on January 21st and 22nd, 2020. Exams for paper 1 (English, Hindi A and Hindi B) were held in first sitting on January 21st and Maths & Science paper was held in second sitting on the same day. Paper 2 for social sciences and other languages were held on January 22nd, 2020. Overall, Jharkhand 9th class exams were held for five papers and questions for total 40 marks were asked in the exam.

Jharkhand Academic Council releases 9th class result 2020 through its official website. However, the students can access the 9th result by the direct link given here as soon as the results are out.

The students will be able to check their JAC 9th result 2020 roll number-wise or name-wise. The board has not provided the facility to check 9th result by SMS/message.

More than 4.1 lakh students had appeared for Class 9th examinations held in Jharkhand in January 2020. Last year, a total of 4,00876 students had attended the class 9 board exams and passing percentage recorded was 89.4%. The statistics for JAC 9th result 2020 will be released after the announcement.

Jharkhand 9th result 2020 date has been reported as March 19/20th. Jharkhand Academic Council officially has not notified anything on its websites.

Passing Scheme

According to the Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranchi, has stated that the students need to pass in at least 4 papers out of 5 to be termed ‘passed’. Means, students need to pass in any four of the five subjects (Language 1, Language 2, Maths, Science and Social Sciences).

Apart from the 40 marks in board exams, 10 marks internal assessment will be done by the schools.

The schedule for Class 9 special examinations will be announced later this month.

PGDBA Result 2020 Out Today (5 PM), check on isical.ac.in

PGDBA result 2020 will be declared today on March 20, after 5 pm as per the reports. The candidates may check official website isical.ac.in for PGDBA 2020 results date and updates will be provided here.

The Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata had conducted Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) exam 2020 on February 16th. PGDBA results were initially scheduled to be out in March 1st week but then delayed to March 20th, as per official website (www.isical.ac.in/~pgdba/Important_Dates.html).

The candidates who took the exam, will be intimated of the PGDBA result and their shortlist status for Personal Interview (PI) through e-mails.

The ISI Kolkata has updated the PGDBA 2020 result date under the ‘Important Dates’ Section. Here are the updates:

  • New Result date is March 20, 2020.
  • Personal Interview will now be held on April 18th & 19th, 2020 instead of March dates.

The Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta, and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur jointly conduct this exam for facilitating admissions to the 2 years residential Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) course. The applications from aspirants were invited between December 3rd, 2019 to January 19th, 2020.

PGDBA 2020 Results:

Last year, the candidates were informed of their PGDBA results through emails. The results were not uploaded at the ISI portal, as is the case this year. The official notification doesn’t clarify whether or not the results will be available online at the ISI website. However, the candidates will get email from ISI intimating them of the status ‘Selected’ or ‘Not selected’ for the Personal Interview round.

Candidates are advised to look out for the email alert from the ISI Kolkata.

PGDBA result date notice.

The personal interview rounds will be conducted on April 18th and April 19th, 2020 as per the revised schedule.

Nearly 7-8 thousand aspirants are reported to have taken PGDBA 2020 examination. Last year, nearly 7 thousand appeared for the test as the acceptance rate was only 0.9% for a total of 63 seats (including 3 EWS seats).

Candidates may check ISI Kolkata portal for PGDBA result updates.

Selection Process:

The candidates are shortlisted for the ‘personal interview’ round based on the performance in the written test. The shortlist in written test in based on the cut off marks.

The cut off marks for PGDBA 2019 Personal Interview was 105 for open category, Nc-OBC, and 70 for SC/ST/PwD.

The final selection of the candidates is done through weightage as below:

  • Written test- 40
  • Personal Interview- 40
  • Points for 10th class marks- 07
  • Points for 12th class marks- 07
  • Work experience- 06
