Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya result, OAVS entrance result 2020 for class 6th admissions has been released on oav.edu.in. Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) is continuously declaring the result of its entrance exam 2020 this week through the district websites. Adarsh Vidyalaya entrance exam for admission to class 6th for the academic session 2020-2021 was conducted on March 1st, 2020.

Latest Update: OAVS entrance test result 2020-2021 selection list, waiting and merit list has been released for many districts. Many districts such as Cuttack and Ganjam are yet to announce the Adarsha Vidyalaya results. All district list is provided below for updated news.

In its official notification, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan had stated that OAVS entrance exam result 2020 will be published on March 12th and the selection list will be released on March 13th, 2020. Some districts have released OAV merit list on scheduled dates, some remain unreleased.

All schools operated by the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Established in 2015, the Adarsha Vidyalayas are being set up at all 314 block headquarters in the state of Odisha. All Adarsha Vidyalaya have classes from 6th to 12th.

As of now, there are 214 Adarsha Vidyalayas in Odisha and 100 more will be opened soon. Of the 214 schools, the OAVS is preparing to upgrade 30 schools to the Higher secondary level from this academic session. The new 100 Adarsha Vidyalayas will benefit nearly 2 lakh more students from rural areas and provide them with the quality education in English medium.

To see the status whether they have been selected for the admission to the OAVs, students or the parents need to visit the district website of the ‘block’ they had applied for. The merit list is available there.

How to check OAVS results and merit list?

To check if the student has been selected for class 6 admission to the Adarsha Vidyalaya, student or the parents have to visit the official website of the Sangathan i.e., oav.edu.in or the website of the relevant district from the region they filled the form and took the exam. The result and merit list related information is provided on the homepage itself under ‘Notifications’ sections.

  • As of this writing (March 17), ‘oav.edu.in’ has not updated complete list and results are only available with district portals.

Once the notification is issued, the link to check the OAV result as well the merit list PDF will be available for public view. The students can then select their Block and check the merit list for their name/roll number.

A direct link will be updated here today once OAVS officials make the announcement. Students and the parents may keep regular check on the OAV official portal for updates.

Adarsha Vidyalaya Admission Process

The students who get selected, will have to visit their respective Odisha Adarsh Vidyalaya and complete the admission formalities within the specified dates.
