The National Board of Examination (NBE) has released the admit card for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2020 scheduled to be held on January 5th, 2020. The National Board of Examination (NBE) is the authority having the responsibility to conduct the NEET PG. While NEET UG is conducted by NTA, the NBSE oversees the conduct of exams such as NEET SS, NEET PG, NEET MDS, PDCET and FMGE among others.

NEET PG 2020

The NEET PG is held to offer admission to the MD/MS/PG diploma courses in government-approved medical college across the country. Currently, NEET PG facilitates admission to 10,821 MS seats, 19,953 MD seats, 1,979 PG diploma seats in 6,102 medical colleges including government and private colleges as well as deemed and central universities.

Last year, a total of 1.43 lakh aspirants have appeared for NEET PG and 79 thousand of them had qualified the exam.

NEET PG 2020 is scheduled on January 5th 2020 and will be held at centers in 162 cities across the world. The number of applicants this year is more than last year, per estimates.

NBE has released the NEET PG admit card 2020 today as per latest reports. In its official schedule, NBE had stated that admit cards will be issued to the candidates on December 28th, 2019 just about a week before the exam.

How to download NEET PG 2020 admit card:

Candidates may visit the official website nbe.edu.in to download their admit cards. The candidates first will have to login with their credentials at the official website and then get a printout of the same.

Exam Pattern:

  • NEET PG 2020 will be held in online mode and in English language only.
  • Exam date & duration: January 5, 2020, (3 hours, 30 minutes/ 210 minutes), from 3:30 pm to 7 pm.
  • A total of 300 objective type questions for maximum 1200 marks will be asked in the exam from 3 sections.
  • NEET PG will have negative marking according to which, 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong attempt. No marks will be deducted for unmarked answer.

Note-

It is mandatory to bring your NBE admit card for NEET PG 2020 at the time of exam otherwise you wouldn’t be allowed entry inside the venue. Also, bring any identity proof along with the admit card.

The entry to the exam center will start at 1:30 pm and no individual will be allowed to enter the venue after 3 pm.
