MJPRU Exam postponed News: Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), also known as MJP Rohilkhand University, has postponed its examinations scheduled between March 18th to April 1st, 2020. MJPRU has uploaded two separate notices on the ‘notice board’ of its official website www.mjpru.ac.in.
The notice regarding MJPRU exam postponement reads, ” All exams scheduled on dates between March 18th-April 1st, 2020 in colleges affiliated to the MJP Rohilkhand University, are postponed/cancelled due to the State advisory regarding Coronavirus outbreak.”
The University further instructed “exam centre’s supervisors to keep the exam and question paper material safe in the strong room and to ensure safekeeping of the classified documents. In case of any leakage or irregularities, the centre staff will be held responsible.”
The University has also shut the teaching activities till April 2nd, 2020, in a separate notice issued here. However, the holidays are only for the students as administrative staff and teachers are to be present in their offices on the said dates.
The case of MJPRU exam postponed/cancelled is a precautionary measure against the spread of COVID-19 as most of the educational institutions in the country have been directed to close the activities which might result in large gathering.
