MBSE HSLC result 2020: Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) will announced the HSLC result date soon on its official website mbse.edu.in. The Mizoram HSLC result 2020 will not be declared on May 2nd or around that date due to the delay in view of the lockdown in the country. Mizoram board of School Education usually declared the result of High School leaving Certificate (HSLC) 2020 examinations in the first week of May month considering previous years’ timeline.
MBSE, the educational board established in 1975 and headquartered at Aizawl, Mizoram, is the responsible body for regulating, supervising and developing the school education in the state from elementary level to the senior secondary level. One of it’s main duties is to organize and conduct board exams for the students enrolled in MBSE affiliated schools including HSLC and HSSLC as well.
HSLC 2020 (Board Exam) Result
MBSE HSLC result 2020 is expected to be be declared on any date by the end of May month. For last three years, MBSE has published HSLC result on May 2nd and May 3rd, two times on May 2nd. But the result is delayed this year due to the lockdown.
The HSLC result PDF is uploaded at the MBSE official website www.mbse.edu.in for the appeared students. A notification is released at MBSE website few days prior the result declaration providing information about the result date and time, top 10 position holders and method to check the same.

MBSE HSLC Routine 2020

Practical exams would be conducted between March 4th to March 9th, 2020. Practical exam timing is 9 am to 4 pm.
Introductory Information Technology/ Home Science would be held from March 11, 2020.
MBSE HSLC Result 2020: How To Check
Since MBSE does not avail the facility to check result by sms, students can only check the results online. MBSE publishes the results on its official website as well on its official partner sites www.indiaresults.com and www.examresults.net.
Here is a step by step guide to check the result.
Step 1. First, the students need to open the official website www.mbse.edu.in on the desktop or mobile. A healthy internet connection is must for doing so.
Step2. Once the intended site is open, look for the link “Higher Secondary Leaving Certificate Examinations 2020 Result” and click on it.
Step 3. A new window will open now where students will be required to enter their roll number and registration number as shown in the image above. After entering the details, students will get access to their marks sheet i.e., HSLC result.
Step 4. Students need to verify that their personal details (such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, school name etc.) are correct. If there is any error in the marks sheet, report it to the MBSE via proper channels.
The marks sheet displayed on the site is provisional and student can take its printout for future references.
HSLC result 2020 school wise: The students can also receive their HSLC results from their respective schools. The provisional marks sheet is available in schools after the online declaration of results.
MBSE HSLC Result 2020 Grading System
The Mizoram board has implemented the grading system in HSLC results. Check the table below to check grades and grade points given against the marks obtained in each subject.
Here are few points students need to know.
- Students need to obtain at least 33% marks to qualify the HSLC exams.
- Maximum 2 grace marks can be given to student in 1 subject to meet the passing criteria.
- Maximum 4 grace marks can be given to pass the student in the additional subject.
- If a student only fails in 1 subject, grace of up to 12 marks can be given.
- If a student fails in 2 subjects, the grace marks can be distributed between both subjects to meet the passing criteria (if applicable).
HSLC Revaluation Process:
The process to apply for the revaluation of answer scripts is carried out after the HSLC results for Feb-March exam are published. Students who are not satisfied with their results may apply for the revaluation of their result and answer scripts by paying the prescribed fees. An official notification is published by MBSE after result publication.
The revaluation applications are to be submit as per the dates specified in the notification (usually in first fortnight of May month) and the results are out by May end.
MBSE HSLC Compartment Exams
The students who failed in one or more subjects in regular exams may apply for the compartment exams. The process to fill the compartment application forms is carried out in the following weeks after HSLC results declaration.
The exams are held in June and the results are then announced after nearly 2 weeks.
