The decision on Karnataka SSLC exam postponed or not, will be taken on Monday- March 23, 2020. The Karnataka State Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has scheduled the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) 2020 board examinations between March 27th to April 3rd, 2020.
S Suresh Kumar, Minister for Primary and Secondary Education in Karnataka informed the press on Saturday that decision regarding postponement or timely conduct of SSLC March 2020 examinations will be taken by the education department on Monday. The state board has already postponed the examinations for class 7th-9th. The 2nd PUC examinations will end on March 23 and are not postponed.
According to reports, nearly 8.48 lakh students have registered to take SSLC March 2020 exams in Karnataka. The officials said that, ‘students health & safety is our primary concern’ in a press meet last week.
Did SSLC exam postponed in Karnataka?
No. As of this writing (March 21, 09:15 PM), SSLC examinations have not been postponed.
Will SSLC exams be postponed?
Most likely. Considering the coronavirus outbreak and the nearly all boards’ decisions taken recently, Karnataka 10th exams will likely be postponed.
KSEEB, the education body responsible for conducting SSLC exams in the state of Karnataka, has not released any official notice about it. But as we stated above, the decision will come on Monday.

Amid several states from Tamil Nadu to CBSE postponing their board examinations, the SSLC students in Karnataka are getting anxious. The Karnataka state had already ordered the shut down of all education institutions in the state till March 31.
