www.jeecup.nic.in: JEECUP result 2020, polytechnic result for the entrance exam conducted in September for admission to the polytechnic colleges in Uttar Pradesh, will be announced today on September 28th, as per the reports. According to the council, UP Polytechnic result 2020 will be declared at 4 PM and the students will be able to check the same on www.jeecup.nic.in- the official website. A total of 4.36 lakhs students had appeared for the JEECUP 2020 at 831 test centres across the state whose results will be known on Monday.
Joint Entrance Examination Council (JEEC), Uttar Pradesh had conducted the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (Polytechnic) known as JEECUP on September 12-15, 2020. The council has already released the final answer key which is available to download on the JEECUP website. JEECUP is conducted for admission to various diploma courses in Uttar Pradesh polytechnics. Admission to engineering and technology as well as pharmacy diploma courses is done based on JEECUP. Once the results have been declared the council will then commence the allotment procedure to provide admissions to over 1,200 colleges spread across the state.

JEECUP result for all groups ( group A, E, B, C, D, F G, H, I & K1-K8) will be released simultaneously on September 28, 2020. The candidates who had appeared in the entrance exam earlier this month will only be able to access their respective results online on the official web portal. Appeared candidates must keep their admit cards handy as it contains all the relevant information that will be required at the time of result declaration.
Candidates can also get an approximate idea of their respective JEECUP scores. This can be done as JEEC has released the answer key within two weeks of conducting the exam. Candidates should follow the marking scheme in order to get their probable score. They should award 4 marks for each instance of correct response and deduct 1 mark for each incorrect response and then total the marks to get the probable score.

Candidates will be able to check their results by following the below-mentioned steps once it is released by JEECUP council.
- Visit the official website
- Find and click on the ‘JEECUP/Polytechnic 2020 Entrance Exam Result’ link on the displayed web page.
- Enter relevant details such as Roll No. and Captcha.
- The candidate’s marks/score card will now be displayed.
- Download and take print out for further use at the time of counselling process.
The result is released in the form of a rank card. The Council does not dispatch the JEECUP 2020 rank card by post or fax or by any other medium except for online mode to the candidates. Candidates will require the hard copy of the rank card at the time of JEECUP 2020 counselling.

The aspirants who have passed the examination by acquiring the minimum qualifying marks will then be able to participate participate in JEECUP Counselling 2020. First step in the counselling process is registration. Candidates will have to register themselves on the web portal and pay the counselling fees. Candidates will then have fill in their choice of colleges and branch. They will be allowed to fill as many choices as they want to increase chance of admission. Later on, the candidate will have to lock his/her choices.

This will be followed by allotment of seats. The admission authorities will allot seats to candidates on the basis of rank they hold and the choices they make while registering for JEECUP counselling 2020. Allotted candidates will then have to pay Rs.3000/- as acceptance fees which will be adjusted against admission fees. Selected candidates will then have to report to allotted colleges for completing document verification.
