The result announcement came today on February 22nd, 2020.
Delhi University conducts the UG & PG CBCS semester examinations twice in a year; in April/May and in Nov/Dec.
Generally, Delhi University declares the November/December exam results by early January but this year the results were delayed this year owing to the late evaluation of the answer scripts due to the the strike by Delhi University teachers Association (DUTA). The teachers had boycotted the evaluation process causing the delay.
Even though the DU result announcement was made today in the afternoon (around 3 PM), there is no end to the ordeal of the students. This is because of the DU results portal not functioning properly. Since the results were uploaded online at duresult.in, students in large number flocked to check the same, causing the site to crash. Even after an hour, the site is down and students are unable to access their results or download the statement of marks.
Students are advised to wait for some time and then visit duresult.in to download their marks statement. The University also avails the facility of revaluation to the students who are unsatisfied with their results. The students can apply for revaluation of their answer scripts by the prescribed amount of fees.
