CCMT Round 3 Seat Allotment Result on Aug 10, check on

CCMT round 3 seat allotment result 2020 is scheduled to be published on August 10th, the students may check the same on MNIT Jaipur, the coordinating authority for CCMT (Centralized Counselling for MTech / MArch/ MPlan), is conducting the online CCMT counselling. CCMT allotment result for all rounds can be seen by the students after login at after completion of their choice filling and fee payment after registration.

CCMT is common platform to hold counselling for the students willing to get admission to the Masters degree including M.Tech, M.Arch., M.Plan.m M.Des programs offered by NITs, IIEST Shibpur and some IIITs and GFTIs. CCMT 2020 is being organized by Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur. All the admissions in academic session 2020-21 will be given on the basis of GATE scores of years 2018, 2019 and 2020.

The students would be have to login at CCMT portal using their registered email, GATE registration ID etc. The students who would get the seat allotment of their choice may take the admission by paying the fees and completing the formalities. Such students along with those who did not get a seat in first round, will also have the option to get seat in the second round of allotment result.

Understanding the CCMT 2020 counselling process

CCMT 2020 consists of three stages as follows:
Stage 1 – Online registration, choice filling and choice locking
Stage 2 – 3 rounds of counselling
Stage 3 – Online document verification and completing admission formalities

Eligibility for participation

The applicants seeking admission through CCMT 2020 must have valid GATE score of year 2018 or 2019 or 2020. The candidates cannot participate by using GATE score of year 2017 or before. Additionally, CCMT 2020 has mandated minimum 6.5 CGPA (or 60% marks) for General & OBC candidates. This requirement becomes minimum 6.0 CGPA (or 55% marks) for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates.

Registration and Choice Filling

The candidates are required to register themselves through official website On opening the website, registration can be done through link “Online Registration and Choice Filling” available at the home page. For successful registration, the applicants will have to enter their GATE credentials, details of qualifying degrees and other personal details. The registrations of CCMT 2020 have been opened on 13th May and the last date for online registration, fee payment and choice filling is 15th June after extension.

The candidates will have to fill and lock their choices of courses in order of preference. The applicants will see a list of eligible programmes offered by participating institutions in their respective CCMT login. During choice filling, the applicants can change, reorder, delete or add choices of programmes/ institutes within given time window.

The choice filling window will open once again for the second round after 1st round allotment result is declared.

What after Choice Filling

A merit list will be prepared on the basis of GATE score submitted by the candidates while registration. The authority will process the merit list, choice list, category of candidate and availability of seats for particular course for seat allotment. CCMT allotment result will be published on CCMT website. The candidates will have to download provisional seat allotment letter after depositing seat acceptance fee.

Registration Fee

The applicants will have to deposit non-refundable fee for participating in CCMT 2020 counselling. The fee is Rs. 2500 for General/ OBC candidates and Rs. 2000 for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates. After the final allotment of seat, the candidate will have to pay seat acceptance fee which is Rs. 30,000 for General/ OBC candidates and Rs. 10,000 for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates. The seat acceptance fee will be adjusted against finally allotted Institute’s admission fee.

CCMT 2020 counselling for admissions will be done in 3 rounds. After the completion of 3 rounds, two special rounds will also be conducted if seats remain vacant.

Important points:

The candidates must take a printed copy of their CCMT 2020 registration form containing the locked choices. The candidates will have to sign and submit the printed copy at the time of physical reporting at finally allotted institute.

This year, the candidates were allowed to get their documents verified through online mode. The candidates will have to upload the required documents for verification after seat allotment.
