Bin Sachivalay exam 2019 cancellation is now official news

Bin Sachivalay exam 2019: Gujarat Government has cancelled the Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) clerk exam that was conducted on November 17th, 2019. While the candidates who wrote the Bin Sachivalay paper were waiting for their results amidst the ongoing investigation about the irregularity and misconduct in the exam, others were protesting due to the same matter.

Gujarat Government has cancelled Bin Sachivalay exam 2019.

The decision to cancel Bin Sachivalay recruitment exam 2019 came on Monday after the Gujarat state government’s enabled Special Investigation Team (SIT) submitted their final report which formed the basis of this GSSSB clerk exam cancellation.

The GSSSB itself has not issued any official notice regarding the exam but the State government notified the media on Monday morning.

Why is Bin Sachivalay Exam Cancelled

Bin Sachivalay clerk exam has been cancelled because of the paper leak reports being proven true by the SIT. After the conduct of this GSSSB clerk recruitment on November 17th, 2019, a lot of candidates have been protesting continuously demanding the exam cancellation due to the paper leak reports.

This being the case, the State government formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the matter. Based on the SIT’s findings which proved that that paper leak reports were indeed true, the State government then notified the exam cancellation. The decision came after a meeting headed by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani along with Deputy CM Nitinbhai Patel.

The move to cancel the GSSB clerk exam will affect nearly 6 lakh candidates who appeared for the said exam on November 17th, 2019.

GSSSB had advertised a total of 3,053 vacancies on the posts of Clerks and Office Assistant. The application submission process was completed by June 30, 2019. After the exam, the board had released the provisional answer keys and was preparing the results.

As of now, it remains unknown when will the State government will launch a new recruitment drive to fill these posts.
