bsebstet2019.in STET admit card 2020: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the admit card for its Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2020. The Bihar STET re-exam will be held between September 9th to 21st, 2020.. Previously the exam was held back in the month of January 2020 but was later cancelled by the board citing malpractice and irregularities stirring up much controversy. Now the exam is all set to be conducted in September to fill a total of 25,270 vacancies in secondary schools and 12,056 vacancies in senior secondary schools in the state of Bihar. Bihar STET Exam Admit Card 2020
BSEB released the Bihar STET Exam Admit Cards on September 3rd via its website- bsebstet2019.in. Now that the admit cards have been uploaded by the board, candidates should download the same from the official website. The admit cards will consist of important details such as exam centre and advisory for candidates in view of the pandemic as well as the exam centre details.
Candidates can download their STET admit card by following the below-mentioned steps.
- Visit the BSEB STET official website (bsebstet2019.in)
- Click on the ‘Re-Exam admit card’ link.
- Enter registration number along with DOB and/or password.
- Click on Login after validating captcha.
- The admit card will now be displayed.
- Download and take a printout for further use.
STET Exam Date
The Bihar STET exam will commence from September 9th. Following that the exam will be held on September 10th and 11th. Then after a gap of 2 days the exam will be held for five consecutive days from 14th September to 18th September and will then conclude on 21st September. Usually the STET exam is conducted on a single day only but these changes have been made considering the COVID-19 situation and to order the spread, and also with concerns over the last exam’s conduct.
Exam Pattern & marking scheme
BSEB will be conducting two papers namely, Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-I is for candidates seeking selection as secondary school teacher while Paper-II is for candidates seeking selection as senior secondary school teacher. Both the papers will be conducted through offline mode.
Both papers will consist of a total of 150 objective type questions. The papers will carry a weightage of 150 marks, hence each correct response will carry 1 mark. There will be no negative marking for incorrect responses. The papers will be in Hindi. Candidates will be given a total of 150 minutes to complete the paper.
Both papers will consist of two sections. First section will be on the specific subject. Whereas the second section will consist of questions from teaching techniques and other eligibility.
