Odisha liquor delivery online osbc.co.in: The state government has given permission to shops registered under Odisha State Beverage Corporation Limited, known as OSBCL or OSBC to start the home delivery of liquor in Odisha from May 24, 2020. The liquor delivery will start in each district in big cities such as Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela and Brahmapur etc from Sunday.
Whereas many of the other states have already opened the wine shops or allowed online booking and home delivery of the liquor, Odisha is yet to open shops. However, to avoid the long queues and to enforce social distancing norms, the Odisha government today announced that the OSBC wine shops will be allowed the online sale of liquor through home delivery mode.
The Odisha State Beverage Corporation (OSBC) is state owned Public State Undertaking (PSU) of the government of Odisha. The Excise Department, Odisha officials said that only ON & OFF shops with license of Indian made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and Beer will be able to sell online from Sunday. No over the counter sale is permitted.

Odisha State Beverage Corporation has uploaded the district-wise information about ON & OFF shops at its website that are allowed to sell liquor through home delivery mode from Sunday (May 24).
The customers who wish to buy liquor online in Odisha may visit the website www.osbc.co.in and see the information about the nearby ON &OFF shops. The liquor shop’s name, phone number and address etc details are available there.

Home Delivery & Price Details:
The online booking and home delivery will be allowed between 7 AM to 6 PM. The liquor will have to be delivered within 6 hours of the booking by the shops.
The state has levied an extra charge of 50% on top of the MRP. Means, liquor you used to buy for Rs 1000 will cost you Rs 1500/- now.
According to the Excise Commissioner, here are delivery rates:
Rs 100/- for liquor orders upto Rs 1000/-
Rs 25/- for every additional Rs 500/- order value after Rs 1000 ceiling.
For example: if you order alcohol worth Rs 2000/-, you will have to pay delivery charge of Rs 150/-.
Kerala BEVCO app ‘BevQ’ download: Kerala Beverages Corporation (BEVCO) will launch its drink app for generating the virtual queue token next week. According to the reports, Kerala State Beverages Corporation (KSBC) conducted the trial of its mobile app on earlier this week and is gearing for public launch on Thursday.
While the liquor shops in Kerala has been reopened today on May 20, the Kerala state government had since last week been working on to launch the BEVCO app to control crowd and ensure social distancing norms.
May 23 Update: BevQ app is ready but Google has raised security issues before its release on its ‘Play Store’. The officials on May 22nd said that the app will be ready to be launched on upcoming Monday or Tuesday.
What is Kerala BEVCO App
The new KSBC BEVCO drink app set to launch tomorrow has been developed by Faircode Technologies based in Kochi. The app will avail the facility of online booking for virtual queue token for the purchase of liquor in BEVCO owned shops in Kerala.
The Kerala Beverages Corporation has not provided the facility of home delivery of liquor, the app will facilitate generating the token to avoid long queues. You can book a particular time slot through this KSBC drink app and visit the shop to buy liquor.

A link will be put on the official website of the Kerala Beverages Corporation website www.ksbc.kerala.gov.in. The link will be updated here on Thursday.
Online booking for virtual queue token to purchase liquor in Kerala:
First, download the app from Google Play store or from link given at KSBC website.
After installing the app, select the district and enter the PIN code of the area you are looking to purchase liquor in. If no shop is listed under the entered ZIP/PIN code, enter another area’s code.
After entering the district and area’s PIN Code, the app will display the list of Kerala Beverages shops and bars. Select whichever shop/bar is nearest to you.
Now, select the time slot to book virtual queue token.
Enter your basic details (name, address, ID details) etc.
After filling all the required details, a confirmation message will be sent to your registered mobile number with time slot and shop details.
Things you should know:
The people who don’t have smartphone to download the app, will be able to send a message to the prescribed number and get the token to buy liquor.
Only 1 toke a day can be generated using one mobile number.
Only people with age above 21 years are permitted to buy liquor in Kerala.
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will declare the result of its Common Entrance Test (CET) 2020 examination for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) today on May 23. The MAH MBA CET result 2020 will be announced at 11 AM through the official portal of the CET Cell Maharashtra i.e., mahacet.org.
Uday Samant, Education minister of Maharashtra State confirmed the CET MBA 2020 result date yesterday via Twitter. He said “The result of MAH – MBA/MMS CET 2020 exam that was held on March 14 & 15, 2020, will be published online on March 23, 2020 at 11 AM”.
The minister further stated that a total of 1,10,631 students had attended the computer based test.
This Maharashtra (MAH) Common Entrance Test (CET) is conducted for facilitating admission to the first year of post graduate degree courses in business administration courses in the management and business schools in the state. The MAH CET 2020 held in March will be the basis for admission to the MBA/MMS courses for the academic calendar 2020-2021.
MBA CET Result 2020 Check
The candidates will be able to check their score and percentile when the CET results are announced today. The candidate’s score card will display the marks he/she has obtained out of maximum 200, which will be the basis of merit list preparation. The merit/rank list will identify the candidate who will qualify for the counselling for the admission process.
The Maharashtra CET Cell uses the percentile formula to equalize the scores of candidates in both shifts.
The results were originally scheduled to be declared on March 31 but were delayed due to the ongoing lockdown, and will finally be published today on May 23, 2020.
How to check Result
The candidates may check their MBA CET 2020 result by visiting the official websites mahacet.org under the section “MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2020”.
The candidates will have to enter their roll/application number to check the individual score card while the rank list will be available to view in PDF format publicly.

Counselling & Admission Process
The MAH CET Cell is expected to release the counselling schedule today along with the results. The students whose names will appear in the merit list will have to register online to attend the counselling process. The new academic session will kick-off in September 2020, as UGC guidelines had stated.
In view of the current lockdown, the counselling process is expected to take place online. More details will be available after the official notification.
BSEB result 2020: Bihar board 10th topper list 2020 district wise will be released along with the matric result at board’s website onlinebseb.in today. The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is expected to declare the matric result today on May 22nd its official website along with the topper list. The Bihar board has reportedly finished the toppers’ interview and verification and is ready to publish the matric results on May 20. Whereas the date is almost confirmed, the time of matric result declaration yet remains to be notified by the board.
Bihar School Examination Board, BSEB Patna, is the official government body in the state responsible for conducting matriculation (10th standard) examinations and declaring results through online mode. Nearly 15 lakh students wrote the Bihar board matric examinations that were conducted from February 17th to February 24th, 2020.

Bihar Board Topper List 2020
BSEB board will release Bihar 10th topper list 2020 today along with the result. The topper list will be available at the official websites also.
The BSEB officials yesterday stated that the interviews and verification of the toppers is completed on May 19. However, unlike previous years, the interviews were conducted through online mode. The board holds the verification process to ensure the transparency in the results.
A district-wise topper’s merit list will uploaded today at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. The board has interviewed nearly 100 toppers for the list.
Last year, 5 Bihar 10th class toppers were from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya, Jamui. Here is the list from last year’s results:

The students who have good internet connection can visit the Official website of Bihar School Examination Board (biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in or biharboard.online) to check their 10th or matric result 2020. Those not having good internet connection may avail the result checking facility through SMS.

The overall pass percentage recorded last year was 80.73% when a total of 16.60 lakh students had attended the matric exams. A total of 13.20 lakh had passed the exams then.

The BSEB officials today reportedly said that “matric results will be published after 5 PM”. That means, its not confirmed whether or not the matric results will be released today. A total of 15.29 lakh students appeared for the 10th class examinations this year which were held in February who are now eagerly waiting for their Bihar board online results 2020 to be announced. The wait of the students will be over in next 2-3 days as the board officials said.
Currently, the BSEB is conducting the interviews of the toppers to prepare the merit list and also the verification of the toppers’ answer sheets to ensure accurate results. The evaluation is already completed and the interviews of the toppers were conducted on May 18-19 via video calls. Now the post-evaluation and result data uploading process is underway which might taken 1-2 days, the officials said.
Bihar Board 10th/matric result 2020 exact date and time can not be pinpointed since the BSEB officials themselves did not provide the same.
bseh.org.inHBSE 10th result 2020: The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) also known as Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) Bhiwani will be announcing its 10th class result 2020 soon. Few reports have been circulating online and through WhatsApp as well citing that HBSE 10th result 2020 will be declared on May 20, 2020 at 4 PM. But its not true as neither BSEH has issued any official notice nor any board official have confirmed the news.
HBSE result not today
A recent report from Bhaskar had cited that BSEH will announce the 10th result between May 20th to May 25th 2020. However since then the board officials have not said anything about the result date. The report cites that the board is ready to publish the results and has sent the file to the state government for approval. While the board has earlier announced to cancel 10th Science exam, the report says that the board is looking to conduct to the remaining exams in July month. The board may even release the results without holding the Science exam.
While there is no recent report on the Haryana board 10th result date, the results are expected soon. The board may declare the result within a week. That being said, its almost sure that results will not be released today.
The students should only check the official website bseh.org.in for notification about result announcement. The students will know of the result date in advance through the board’s website as well as news reports.
Why BSEH results are delayed:
The delay in results has happened due to the delay in submission of internal assessment by the schools. The BSEH had asked for the schools to submit the internal assessment/General Awareness & Life Skills grade and practical exam marks of the students by May 11, 2020, being extended from April 24 deadline.
The board has already cancelled the remaining ‘Science’ paper exam that was originally scheduled to be held on March 26th due to the lockdown. Now, the students will be awarded marks in Science paper on the basis of performance in the rest of papers/subjects.
Once declared, the students may check the HBSE 10th result 2020 on the official website and mobile app www.bseh.org.in.
IBPS final result: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the Probationary Officer (PO) final result 2020 today on May 20th at 11 am. Shramik Special train booking online registration, Shramik train list: Indian Railways is now running hundreds of Shramik special trains for stranded individuals to travel to their states. The Indian Railway has said that special trains booking can only be done through IRCTC website and app. We’ll update the detailed list and schedule/time table of special trains here. Stay tuned.
Types of Shramik Special trains and online booking(May 20 Update)
Shramik Special trains for migrant workers and stranded individuals: The online booking facility is not available for these kind of trains. The migrant workers would have to register at state’s interstate movement portal to travel by these trains. Shramik special train registration/booking facility is only available with the state government, not the public. Register online through state migrant service here.
Indian Railways will 200 Non-AC trains from June 1, 2020. The booking for these trains can be done online by anybody. The detailed time table and list will be available at Railways website.
IRCTC Special trains: These trains are separate from Shramil trains and booking for these can be done by anybody.
The booking for all the Shramik special trains can be done online through website (www.irctc.co.in) and IRCTC app.
In an official press release, Railways stated that “These special trains will run from New Delhi connecting connecting Dibrugarh, Agartala, Howrah, Patna, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Madgaon, Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad and Jammu Tawi stations”

These Shramik special trains will run from point to point ( from one state to another) on the request of concerned state governments for the movement of migrant workers, students, pilgrims, tourists and other stranded people. Special Train Registration Booking
The registration and booking for these Shramik special trains can only be done by the state government officials. The facility is not open to the public i.e., stranded migrant workers, students and alike.
How to register for Shramik Special train to travel lockdown?
The stranded persons willing to travel to another state have to register with any of the two state government (source & destination) to avail the facility. There is no other open. It is upto the government who will be sent by the special trains and when.

Facts about Shramik Special Trains
The sending states will arrange the buses to bring registered passengers to the special train’ boarding station.
The food and drinking water will be provided at the boarding station by the sending state government to all passenger. Additional meal will be provided during longer special train routes.
The on duty Railway officials will ensure the social distancing, hygiene and other safety rules.
On the arrival, the destination state government will arrange the screening and health checkup facility, including quarantine if necessary.
The facility for further travel will also be provided by the destination state government after train arrival.
The Railways and state governments have appointed nodal offers to coordinate the movement.
It is mandatory for all passengers to wear face mask, main social distance, hygiene and follow the rules.
The government has advised the people to not arrive at the station unnecessarily. The Shramik special trains are not run for everyone and people without prior registration with state government will not be permitted to travel.

Kerala BEVCO Liquor Beverages online booking app for virtual queue token: Kerala State Beverages Corporation (BEVCO) has announced to launch website and app for online booking and home delivery of liquor. Kerala government has allowed the opening of Liquor and local alcohol ‘Toddy’ shops to open again from May 20. The Beverages Corporation (BEVCO) Kerala is also considering to soon provide the online liquor booking facility and introducing a e-token system to avoid long queues at the wine shops.
Kerala State Beverages Corporation (BEVCO) is a state government owned company, having monopoly over sale of liquor in Kerala. There are nearly 300 BEVCO owned liquor shops in Kerala, apart from toddy shops.
May 20 Update:
Kerala liquor shops will open from Wednesday (May 20). The virtual queue token
Kerala government announced that a 10-35% special Corona fee will be applied to the liquor sale. Means, you will have to pay 10-35% extra on the MRP of your liquor. The new price list of Kerala BEVCO has not been uploaded online at ksbc.kerala.goc.in as of this update. We’ll inform once its live.
Kerala government has announced that bars and pubs will soon be able to sell liquor on BEVCO rates. The date has not been notified.
Kerala Toddy Shops News:
The toddy shops were opened in Kerala today but closed down soon facing the supply issues. There are nearly 3600 toddy shops in Kerala, most of them get their supply from Chittur in Palakkad. The lockdown has slowed down the production at only around 10,000 litres a day as compared to the daily demand of 3 lakh litres.
The lack of liquor also caused the toddy/liquor shops in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Kannur to remain shut on May 13. The shops witnessed massive rush in the areas where they were opened but only to be run out of stock within 2-3 hours.
Kerala BEVCO Liquor Beverages Online Booking & Home Delivery:
The Kerala Beverages Corporation (BEVCO) has also announced that it is developing an mobile app and web portal link to provide the online booking of alcohol/liquor and home delivery of the same.
Several states including West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Chhattisgarh have already allowed the online sale and delivery of liquor. Reports are that online sale and delivery of liquor will soon be a reality in Kerala too, and more so since the Supreme Court has also recommended the same.
Kerala BEVCO has approached the officials of ‘Kerala Startup Mission’ for the launch of website and app to facilitate the online booking and purchase of liquor in Kerala, mainly in cities with high demand such as Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Kollam, Thrissur and Kannur among others.
How to purchase Liquor and Order Online in Kerala:
Kerala BEVCO is currently finding a suitable IT partner for the development of mobile app and website to avail the online booking and purchase of liquor. More than 32 lakh people in Kerala consume alcohol, with nearly 5 lakh being daily consumers of local beverage ‘Toddy’ or ‘Liquor’.
The information regarding the online booking, home delivery and rules to be followed will be notified through the official website of the Kerala Beverages Corporation i.e., www.ksbc.kerala.gov.in.
Before the launch of website and mobile app for online sale and delivery of liquor in Kerala, the Excise department and BEVCO have announced that they are going to launch a ‘queue token system’ to avoid rush at the toddy and wine shops. Delhi, Maharashtra and few other states have already availed this e-token system.
Kerala BEVCO official G. Sparjan Kumar said that “we are soon launching a virtual queue or token system after resumption of liquor sale through BEVCO retail shops’.
Kerala BEVCO App for queue token:
The people will have to download the app launched by Kerala State Beverages Corporation and enter their basic details such as name, mobile number, address and time slot etc. to book their place in the queue.
After entering the details, the customers will be sent a text message informing them of the time slot they can visit the nearby shop and buy the liquor.
Those without smartphones, will be able to send a SMS to the prescribed number and book their slot.
As per the officials, the queue token system will cover around 300 liquor shops in Kerala.

Jharkhand Excise department has started online token booking to buy liquor in Jharkhand through the portal- jhexciseretail.nic.in. Whereas the Jharkhand state government has also allowed the wine shops to open from May 20, it has also roped in Zomato, Swiggy for home delivery of liquor in main cities of the state.
The liquor sale in Jharkhand is now online:
Department of Excise and Prohibition, Jharkhand Utpad, set up a weblink https://jhexciseretail.nic.in/excisetoken/token.aspx and ran a trial of the online virtual queue token booking earlier this week. However, the token booking system has not been publicly launched yet.
Once the website is live again, the people will be able to visit the jhexcise website and select the district/area to find the nearby open liquor shop. Then they have to enter their mobile number, name and address details and generate token to visit the liquor shop at a particular time. After booking the online token, a message will be sent to the registered mobile number with time slot and shop address details.
Only 1 token can be generated in a day using one mobile number. The online virtual queue token for purchasing liquor will be available in around 15 district of Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Hazaribagh, Deoghr, Dhanbad, Ramgarh, Giridih and Palamu.
