Assam Irrigation admit card has been issued at irrigation.assam.gov.in & irrigationassam.cbtexam.in. Assam Irrigation Department released a notification on January 24th, 2020 stating that the availability of admit card for candidates who have registered for 2020 recruitment process.
Assam Irrigation Department had advertised a total of 643 vacancies. of the total vacancies, 397 are for the post of Section Assistant under the establishment of Chief Engineer. Other vacancies are for the posts of Junior assistant, Subordinate engineer-I, Power pump operator and Primary investigators in district level offices in the Irrigation Department.
The application form filling process for this Assam Irrigation department recruitment 2020 was carried out between December 20th, 2019 to January 11th, 2020.
Assam Irrigation Exam Date
As of now the, Irrigation department has only notified the exam date for Section Assistant posts.
Section Assistant exam will be conducted on February 1st & 2nd, 2020. Each candidate need to download his/her admit card to see the exam date, schedule and exam centre details.

Irrigation department uploaded the Section assistant admit card at its website irrigation.assam.gov.in along with a notification.
Candidates can download the admit cards here through their respective registration/application number and login details (created at the time of filling registration form online).
- The exam will be held over 2 days but the candidate can see the date on which they have to appear in the admit card itself.
- The detail about exam centre is also provided in the admit card. The seating arrangement will be known at the venue.
- It is compulsory for each candidate to bring his/her admit card on the exam day. Also make sure to bring any identity proof as sometimes the photo in the admit card is not clear and needs to be verified.
Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme for Section Assistant Post
The exam will be computer based test and is of 2 hours duration, with objective type questions.
A total of 100 questions will be asked for maximum 100 marks (total). Each question carries 1 mark and there is no negative marking in the paper.
