Where & How To Check HS result 2020

The AHSEC makes the facility to check Higher Secondary result by three methods namely- By SMS, by Mobile App, and by Online portals. Read below to know details and to know which method will best suit you.

To check their result through SMS method, students need to send a text to the prescribed number in predefined text format given below. The students will get their marks sheet by sms within few minutes on the phone number which they used to send text.

AHSEC HS Result 2020 by Mobile App

Last year, the Council had availed a mobile application for the students to check their results. The app was called ‘Upolobdha’. To check their result by this mobile app, students just need to download the App from Google Play store on their smartphone, open it and enter the required details (roll code and number).

We don’t know if the said App will be used for 2020 results. We will update once AHSEC provided some clarity on the matter.

Students can follow this simple step by step guide to check their results online using the desktop or mobile phones to check the AHSEC result for Higher Secondary 2020 examinations Name wise or roll number wise. You have the option to check the HS result by name and roll number but there is no option for stream-wise (Arts, Commerce, Science and Vocational .

AHSEC will upload HS 2nd year result at in May 2020.

Step 1: Open the official website or any of the website listed in the official notification (also listed below). Simply type the website’s name in any browser (Google Chrome, UC browser etc) and hit enter, that will lead you to the intended website.

Step 2: Once the site is open, look for the link “H.S. Final Examination Result – 2020” and click on it.

Students have the option to check Assam HS result 2020 name wise or by roll number.

Step 3: A new window will be opened where you will be asked to fill in the details (Roll Code and Roll Number) along with a Captcha. There are two options here- one to fill-in roll code and number, and another to search by name. You can choose whichever method you find suitable. Fill in the details and hit submit.

Step 4: Now the marks sheet will be opened. Students must verify their personal details first such as Name, Father’s name, Mother’s name, School Name & code, Stream etc.

Marks sheet: The HS marks sheet will contain student’s marks in individual subjects for theory/practical as well as the total aggregate marks along with status whether fail or pass. Its advisable that student should take printout of the marks sheet to be used for further process (admission etc.).

The original marks sheet is dispatched to the schools after a month or so. Students will receive their original marks sheet and passing certificates form their respective schools.

HS Rechecking/Revaluation 2020

The revaluation/rechecking of answer scripts is for those students who are not satisfied with the marks they got in one of more subjects. Such students may apply for the revaluation of their answer scripts when AHSEC opens the application process for the same soon after the exams.

Assam HS revaluation application forms are to be filled through the official website by the interested students.

Assam HS result statistics for previous year (2019)

Last year (2019), the Council stated that a total of 2,42,843 students had appeared for the Higher Secondary exams including all streams. Here are some key data points from 2019 results.

  • Arts stream: A total of 1,86,187 students appeared from Arts stream and recorded the pass percentage of 75.14%.
  • Science Stream: 37,455 students appeared and pass percentage was 86.59%.
  • Commerce Stream: 18,291 students took the exams and pass percentage was recorded at 87.59%, the highest among dominant three streams.
  • 910 students appeared from Vocational stream.
  • The overall pass percentage for Girls and Boys was 93% and 89.46% respectively.
